Our 4WD alpine tractor is equipped with a state-of-the-art post driver that can, usually, access places other larger equipment can’t reach. If “reach” is the issue, then our Kubota KX027-4 tracked digger with attached post knocker can reach up on to the Devon banks which are a common feature in the South West. There's a range of complementary equipment which we routinely hire in for specific jobs.

We are happy working with a wide variety of fencing materials and can offer advice on both traditional and more modern options be it wood, metal or concrete.

We typically use timber certified by BS 8417 and in most cases that which is certified to Usage Class 4 (“UC4”) this means that typically preservative penetration into sapwood at 6mm will give a default service life of 15 years. To be confident in that level of quality we aim to source our product from reputable suppliers certified to or sourcing from ISO 9001 sawmills. 

As a contrast we are also able to offer creosote posts which although more expensive can offer a service life of 30 years. 

Sweet Chestnut, with either bark on or off, is a natural hardwood alternative to chemically preserved posts.

All our installation work is based on BS1722 which is the British Fencing Standard.
